Balancingconveyor drums
In order to avoid vibrations in drums subjected to high rotation speeds, ALTEMA can balance the drum.
There are two types of balancing:
- Static balancing (e.g. for medium speeds). A dedicated test bench is used to test drum balancing by analyzing the drum’s behavior after rotation.
- Dynamic balancing (more precise and necessary at higher speeds). After analysis on a high-precision test bench (balancing machine), the balancing is adjusted by adding balancing weights to ensure perfect balance. A dynamic balancing report can be produced on request.
